Mr. Ebne Alam Hasan has become the Chief Engineer of Roads & Highways Department on November 29, 2015.
He started his Civil Service Career on Aug 03, 1983 as a member of BCS (Roads & Highways) Cadre. In his long career at Roads & Highways Department he served in almost every sector of Roads & Highways Department. As an Assistant Engineer he served in Project Control Office. As a Sub Divisional Engineer he was posted in Special Project (RIP), RIP, Faridpur, Road Sub-Division, Keraniganj, JBARP, Dhaka. As an Executive Engineer, he was involved with SRND Project. Later on He worked in Monitoring Circle & Procurement Circle as Superintending Engineer. He was posted in Chittagong Zone as Additional Chief Engineer. Before being the Chief Engineer he was the successful Project Director of 4-Laning of Dhaka-Chittagong Highway Project.
He graduated in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) in 1982. He completed his S.S.C from T&T High School, Dhaka in 1975 and H.S.C from Dhaka College, Dhaka in 1977.
He has got several training at both home & abroad like Foundation Training, Visual Foxpro Programming, AutoCAD, ADB funded Road Network Improvement & Maintenance, Bridge Engineering etc.
He participated on a overseas Training program in USA and Canada under "Joydevpur Mymensing Road Improvement Project".
He visited India, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnum, Finland, USA, Canada, Australia and Newzealand for training, conference and workshop purposes.
